Well... 10 more days or rather 9 and the half i will be in Tekong for half a year. Not really sad nor depressed. Anyway, so many had been through it and they are fine so what's there to be afraid about right. Hmmm... no matter what you feel, you still have to go as you are not allowed to oppose the government policy. I might still post before the dateline though.
Today is my first day after my resignation of my part-time job. Not really bear to leave the company as everyone is being regarded at the same level, just like 1 big family. Its beyong my control bah. Can't really cling on to them for too long also because the pay is only acceptable for this moment of my life. =P As some of you may heard of it already, there are 2 TP students serving their Internship in my company and i was in-charged of supervising them. (although I wasn't the official one but i assign them tasks and monitor their work). I can say that my analysis since secondary 1 has been right. The quality of students results has been detorating ever since my born year 1986. Just look at the 'O' Level and PSLE results from the year bah, the percentage has been dropping till today. That's why government had this policy that the more gifted students can actually dun take their 'O's and still able to go for tertiary education. Why ? So that the normal being students percentile will not be dragged by them.
Back to those 2 jokers in my company, there are 2 sides from them. Let me start with the female students first. I can say that her attitude towards this attachment was above average but her technical skills was only better that terrible. Pls do not misunderstood me for looking down on them. Well I am not, I blame the education provided. She confessed that the only reason for being in the IT industry is that she can't get in the business courses. Its still alright up till this point if you had already made until so far. She said she just dun like programming and blaming that she is not talented in programming that's why she can't complete her tasks. Come'on, who is born with talents to programming ?. That's lame... To my point of view, when you are already in the course that you are in on, love the course and not hating. By hating will not do you any good for your future. So, if you can't hate it... love it. Another problem with her is that she keeps bugging me with common sense questions. Yes, it is good that you ask clearly and not assume. But she is just overdoing it, and it just irritates me bad. Questions like "Have i changed me codes correctly?" (Hey!, its your code and you asked me ? ... if I have to help you code then why are you here miss?) , "After i change my code, shall i run it?" (THEN WHY ARE YOU CHANGING THEN?), this is the best : "Got error when i run. HOW?" (WTF!!! DEBUG AND FIND OUT WHY LAH!!!!) . She had ought to be more independent if not she is gonna somehow suffer bah.
Now, comes to the 2 student who is a guy. At the first look, i dun like him. I thought i was being paranoid and decided to give him some chance to prove me wrong. Some time later, i found out that i was completely right, he was someone who is being hated for. His attitude towards working wasn't right at all. At the first day on his attachment, he actually wanted to choose what he had to do and complain to me that what he was doing was 'sian'. HUH ? ... what kind of attitude was that ? . Normal days in office, if he were to talk to some people, his tone and the way he phrases his words makes you feel irritated as he tried to speak to you using words that only familar friends would use on each other. Pls... dun try to act "shou" with us lah ... wait till you really are. He was given data entry work to do and he said he would prefer coding. He told my boss that his programming skills are powerful
Alright, then we gave him VBA (Visual Basic Actionscript) work to him and he keep getting stuck. Well, VBA wasn't taught in school and i am from the same school brother. I too learn and work it out. My point is that dun brag about something when you actually had only been proven in your own circles of people. Be more humble and you will go futher, learn as you move on, move on and learn.
Recently, he kept dozing off half way doing his work. 1 of my colleague who is the 2nd highest rank in my company caught him sleeping and starred at him and he still didn't realise and continue to sleep.His attitude had really got to change man. MY god!!!!! SANKARA had really sent 2 "Ultima Weapon" to my company man. ~~
