Yo Yo.... Peps !!! ORD liao... Times Files? .... like all likes to say... but it certainly doesn't fly for me. Ha... It has been hell for me in my Unit life for NSF. Haha.
I wrote things when I enlisted on 3 Jun 2006... So I thought i might want to do another one when I ORD.
The whole Life of NSF (National Servicemen Full-Time) had lots of Ups and Downs. For me its always the case of more Downs than Ups. In Tekong, althought it is the best time I had during this 2 years of torturing but its the worst compared to the others who were in different company. During BMT, I had a Platoon Sergeant who is totally out of his mind when giving us his piece of mind for all the things he is unsatisfied in. His pressure on me resulted in mental distress for the 3 months under him. However, there is something to cling on to for that period of time, buddies and friends in Army and Poly. (Really missed the times we had)
In Tekong, we do everything together so it is really like we are 1 big family. Fun times and sad times all together. But, like what i'd been saying, there can never be a long lasting Army friends during the National Service. It will always serve a purpose to be in contact with. Some might disagree, well, at least for me.
Next chapter of NS.
POPed and I was disappointingly (dunno got such word or not) posted to be a signallor. I'd hoped for an Officer, if not driver. I didn't want to be in a position where I am stuck in the middle level. I guess it is because of my IPPT result bah. Haha.
Apart from all the misfortunate, I've got to thank them for posting me to Signal Institue. Why? haha. The trainings for Signallor is very slack and so we had lots and lots of free time compared to life in Tekong. During this free time, I am in contact with an old poly friend. Haha... She is my future wife, my Laopo :D. She is really a blessing for me. All the unhappiness I had in camp will be all forgotten during weekends when we meet. She's my mental support in overrall. It could have been far worst in my NS life if not for her.
Unit life.
For a signallor, I got the worst posting. In the unit, we had to go through SOC and regular IPPT. That's really taxing. My commanders of my company wasn't that good as well. Inconsiderate and unreasonable. Why take off when nothing to do also must give reason? ... I want to use my house toliet can ? ... What the hell. I can't really go into details of what my unit has been doing because of law. haha... dunwan to get charge for blogging... haha...
Well, in a nut shell, my unit is the hell that i have always been saying about. All the incidents that happened there totally changed my view of army and it is such a disappointment. Glad that I am out of it and enjoying life as usual.
Now waiting to start school in NUS @ Aug. Currently I am scouting for jobs... haiz... no reply or luck in searching... Folks... got lobang share share arh ... haha.... that's all bah... too long din blog... dunno what to write also...
